Welcome – Here is How to Join

The Towne Singers perform two major concerts each year, typically in early December (Holiday concert) and late May (the Spring concert).  We accept new members in early September (for the Holiday concert) and mid-January (for the Spring concert).  Any prospective member may “sit in” at one of our Monday evening rehearsals (at any time during the season), which run from from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena.  Come visit us and get acquainted; “first-hand exposure” is the best means for you to make a decision on joining us (let us know via email if you are planning to stop by).

We are a non-auditioned choir, but most members have some form of musical training in their background.  We all have a lot of fun in a family-like atmosphere, and have a great spirit of camaraderie among our members.  We do work hard to produce concerts that have the best balance of beautiful music, audience appeal, and the opportunity for our members to fully realize the joy of singing.  We sing a wide variety of music styles and genres, and typically have a musical theme for our Spring concert.
